Frequently asked questions

How do I get my data into Snowflake

  1. Create a Windsor.ai account and connect all the sources which you would like to stream to Snowflake.
  2. Use this tutorial to grant access to your Snowflake account.
    1. Create the WINDOSR_UPLOAD role (name has no importance)
    2. Create a user and add the previously created role to that user
    3. Grant rights to the DATABASE to the created user
    4. Get the required fields from Snowflake to use the Snowflake destination in Onboard Form
      1. Get the username
      2. Get the password
      3. Get the account
      4. Get the warehouse
      5. Get the database
      6. Get the schema
  3. In 2. Select Destination select Snowflake as destination
  4. Enter all the credentials required and click Save
  5. Your data will now be streamed to Snowflake. In case there is an error you will be notified.
